How it works

A simple start.
A genuinely bespoke experience.

No two learners need the same thing. We combine a clear weekly routine with the freedom to respond to the learner in front of us.

  1. 1

    We listen

Tell us what is difficult, what has already been tried and what would feel like progress.

  2. 2

    We match thoughtfully

We consider learning needs, goals and personality before recommending an experienced or qualified tutor.

  3. 3

    We adapt each week

Sessions are child-led and responsive, with bespoke resources and a pace that feels achievable.

  4. 4

    We keep you informed

Parents receive clear feedback so progress, priorities and next steps never feel vague.

Our belief

“Our goal is to empower young minds to thrive, not just survive.”

What families say

Confidence changes everything.

Real reflections from learners and families who have worked with Thriving Minds.

My child has always struggled to learn within the school environment, becoming anxious and overwhelmed quickly. She would not have been as confident and relaxed going into her GCSEs if it weren’t for the support from Angus.

Parent of a GCSE learner

Angus made me catch up with my maths and now I’m in Year 10, I understand the work like everyone else does thanks to him.

Useful to know

Your questions, answered clearly.

Still unsure? Email us and we will talk through your situation without pressure.

Who do you support?+

We support learners from EYFS through primary and secondary education, GCSE and Functional Skills, as well as adult learners. The right subject support depends on tutor availability.

Is tuition online or face-to-face?+

Both are available. Online tuition can support learners more widely, while face-to-face tuition is offered in Norwich and nearby areas where the right tutor has capacity.

How much does tuition cost?+

Online one-to-one tuition starts at £23 for a one-hour session. Face-to-face tuition starts at £29 for a one-hour session. We will confirm the exact option before anything is booked.

Can we book fortnightly sessions?+

Tuition is offered weekly. That consistency helps learners build trust, retain skills and keep a reliable place in the timetable.

What is the cancellation policy?+

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged. This protects tutors’ reserved teaching time.

How will you choose the right tutor?+

We look at the learner’s needs, goals, confidence, personality and preferred way of working before recommending an experienced or qualified tutor.
